PRINCE GEORGE — This year’s Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation’s Wine Lovers fundraiser has been deemed a success.

Organizers say last Friday night’s event raised over $100,000 in support of Northern Simulation Program equipment.

The program plays a crucial role in training, certifying and coaching both student and front line healthcare professionals locally and throughout the north.

The event took place Friday night at the Coast Prince George Hotel by APA.

“Providing state of the art equipment for both learning and treatment is essential for our front-line healthcare professionals, and something we are proud to support” said Aimee Cassie, CEO, Spirit of the North healthcare Foundation.

“The Coast Prince George Hotel by APA, along with our media partners, Pattison Media, consistently go above and beyond to support healthcare in the North. So much has been accomplished in the North thanks to Wine Lovers, and this year, once again, will have a lasting impact in our Northern communities.”
