UNBC keeper Daniel Zadravec named one of Canada West Soccer Players of the Week

PRINCE GEORGE– Another UNBC Timberwolf has been named one of Canada West Soccer Players of the Week after an incredible performance in the last two games.

This time it was 3rd-year goalkeeper Daniel Zadravec who starred over the weekend helping the Timberwolves to 4 points against nationally ranked UBC. He made six saves on seven shots in the teams’ match Friday, showing up in key moments to give his team the 2-1 edge. Zadravec helped the T-Wolves again on Saturday when he amazingly turned away all 14 shots he faced to give his team the draw at 0-0.

The goalkeeper helped his Timberwolves improve to 6-4-2 on the season. Zadravec and UNBC are now off for a week before returning to action on October 15 when they host UBCO.
