UPDATE: Power restored to 1,400 Prince George customers after Saturday morning crash

PRINCE GEORGE — UPDATE: Power has now been restored, according to B.C. Hydro’s website.

EARLIER: A car crash has caused a sizeable power outage within Prince George.

According to B.C. Hydro, the outage affects about 1,400 customers in the city’s west side.

Crews are on site, but B.C. Hydro estimates it could be 2:00 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 8) before power is restored.
