PRINCE GEORGE– 9 Skaters took to the Kin 2 rink yesterday afternoon. Preparing and practicing their skills on the ice, getting ready to show off their Figure Skating during the first competition of the season.

The Northern BC Centre for Skating will be sending 9 skaters from Prince George to Kamloops to take part in 6 events at the Autumn Leaves Super Series Competition.

Those skaters are Tierney Mckeown, Aydriona Hogue, Megan Hunter, Eden McHale, Daytona Thomas, Ava Lawton, Elliott Bragg, Finnegan Cassidy, & Eileen Reay.

It’s something Coach Andrea Luddit is looking forward to as well. However, the biggest thing the coach wants to see from the skaters is being happy with the performance they put out on the ice. But no matter the results it’s a great thing for these skaters, representing the North.

The competition will take place from October 13th-16th across various rinks in Kamloops.
