PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Cougars fell 2-1 to the Brandon Wheat Kings Wednesday night at CN Centre. The Cats registered 40 on goal and got a goal from Carter MacAdams, but it was all the offense PG could muster.

The Wheat Kings were able to get the scoring started in the second period, from a wrist shot courtesy of Nate Danielson. Just under three minutes later, a Carter MacAdams howitzer tied the game at one. MacAdams’ third of the season was assisted by Ethan Samson. In the third, the Wheat Kings found themselves on the power-play as Brett Hyland scored the winning goal .

The Cats next see action this Saturday when they host the Winnipeg Ice . The puck drops at 6pm .
