Man facing several charges in forcible confinement investigation
PRINCE GEORGE — One person has been arrested in a forcible confinement investigation.
It all started when RCMP were alerted to a report of a woman being forced into a grey sedan in a parking lot of a motel on the 900 block of Victoria Street just after 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
Shortly after that a vehicle matching that description was involved in a rollover on the 7300 block of Boundary Road.
Officers arrived to find the woman seriously injured. Police say the suspect attempted to violently car jack several vehicles that stopped to lend assistance. The suspect later returned to the motel where a non lethal round was shot to gain the suspect’s attention and was later arrested.
