RCMP arrest B & E suspect

PRINCE GEORGE — RCMP have arrested the suspect in a Tuesday evening break and enter.

Police responded to the break and enter in progress at a business on the 9200 block of Northern Crescent shortly after 8 p.m. The owner of the business reported they could see a man inside the building on their video surveillance.

“Police officers immediately flooded the area and located a man nearby who matched the description of the suspect. He was identified as Shawn Underhill, who is known to police, and was arrested for breaking and entering. Our police officers’ quick response to this report, in combination with the live video surveillance, ensured we had the suspect apprehended within an hour of the initial complaint,” says Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.
