Prince George Hospice Society launching appeal campaign

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society (PGHPCS) is launching its first annual appeal campaign for six weeks as “Share the Heart of Hospice.”

The PGHPCS has been providing hospice and palliative care for 35 years and has been providing care and compassion for those who are nearing the end of their life and for their families.

The society says that community support will be vital in the next six weeks as the program is non-funded. Over the next six weeks, the PGHPCS and their staff will be sending out letters through mail, canvasing neighbourhoods and other platforms to appeal for donations.
