Girls Rugby Jamboree takes place at PGSS Friday

PRINCE GEORGE– PGSS and College Heights Secondary kicked off the first Rugby Jamboree of the season this morning. It’s the first time any Rugby has been played for the PGSS Polars since Spring.

It’s something everyone was looking forward to as the event featured two out-of-town teams, from Williams Lake and 100 Mile taking the trip here for a full day of Rugby. With lots of first-year players getting their first taste of game action against another opponent this year, it was an exciting time.

However the more experienced players like Saige and Zaleen, who have played on the team in the past. It was just great to be back out on the field and play again.
