Duplex fire on Redwood Street causes $50,000 in damages

PRINCE GEORGE – Crews from three halls responded to a report of a structure fire in the 2300 block of Redwood Street around 3:15 yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon .

arrival, crews found smoke and flame coming from a window of one side of a duplex. Crews contained the fire to the room of origin and damage is estimated at approximately $50,000. There were no injuries to occupants or firefighters. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
