PRINCE GEORGE– The Prince George Spruce Kings split the last 2 games the team played. Now it’s off to the BCHL Showcase for players to show off their talent and play some important games in front of some important people.

The Prince George Spruce Kings headed to Chilliwack Tuesday to take part in the 2022 BCHL Showcase. A chance for players to show off their talent to over 100 scouts in attendance, representing NHL teams, NCAA Division 1 program, and more. An opportunity everyone is looking forward to.

One of the players looking to take advantage of the opportunity is goaltender Jordan Fairlie. The Fort St.John product has had an exceptional year so far. Winning every single game he has started this season all while maintaining a 1.64 GAA and .933 SV%. With Fairlie not committed to any team yet, it will be a chance he will be looking to capitalize on with so many scouts in the stands.

The team will be playing 2 games at the showcase, one against the Coquitlam Express on Wednesday and the other against the undefeated Surrey Eagles on Thursday. One of the toughest tests of the season so far, that Head Coach Alex Even has to prepare his team for.

After the Showcase, the team will head back to Vernon for another game against the Vipers.
