UNBC Soccer has 8 players earning conference honors this season

PRINCE GEORGE– With the soccer regular season over, Canada West has announced its awards for the season. UNBC made history with Men’s and Women’s Soccer programs equaling a decade worth of all-star nods with eight players earning conference honors in just one season.

Five of the Timberwolves Men’s Soccer and three of Timberwolves Women’s Soccer garnered accolades today. For the men, it was Cody Gysbers, and Micheal Henman making 1st team all-stars. Then Kensho Ando and Daniel Zadravec earned 2nd-year all-stars. Finally, Hagon Kim was named to the all-rookie team.

On the woman’s side, it was Kiana Swift making history by becoming the first Timberwolves Women’s Soccer player to be named to the Canada West First All-Star team. While Paige Payne and Mara McCleary were named 2nd team all-stars. Congrats to all the athletes on a historic day for UNBC Athletics.
