All aboard the Pumpkin Express

PRINCE GEORGE — The Central BC Railway and Forestry Museum is hosting a fun-filled Halloween event this weekend where kids got the chance to ride on a mini-train and more.

On Saturday and Sunday, kids and their families are invited to the railway museum for a day full of fun and halloween spirit.

Alisha Rubadeau, events marketing manager with the Central BC Railway and Forestry Museum said that the Cottonwood mini rail, also dubbed the Pumpkin Express, was by far the most popular attraction on Saturday.

The Prince George Nechako Rotary Club was on hand to give away free pumpkins. Admission is free and the museum is also collecting donations for a local food pantry.
