PRINCE GEORGE — Mounties in Prince George were busy this Halloween weekend.

Prince George RCMP Cpl. Jennifer Cooper says police responded to an increase of six per cent more files this weekend over the previous weekends of October.

“There were some notable files on the weekend, with RCMP arresting four people for mischief when they were caught throwing rocks from a rooftop into a nearby crowd. In total, 37 people were arrested and brought to Prince George detachment cells for offenses such as causing a disturbance, being intoxicated in a public place and assault, among others.”

As for Halloween itself, there were 113 calls for service, down from the average of 140.
