Cougars down Chiefs Friday in dominant 7-2 outing
PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Cougars improve their record with a 7-2 win over the Spokane Chiefs Friday night.
Koehn Ziemmer continued his hot streak as he got the scoring started just two minutes into the game.
After trading goals the next two periods, the Cougars eventually pulled away with a three-goal lead making the score 5-2 at the end of the second period.
In the third, Ondrej Becher and Chase Wheatcroft added to the Cougars’ lead to make it 7-2, solidifying the win.
