Spruce Kings fall in OT to Silverbacks

SALMON ARM — The Prince George Spruce Kings lost a nailbiter to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks Saturday in overtime.

In a back-and-forth affair, the Silverback came out on top as winning 2-1 with Ethan Ullrick scoring the game-winner.

Ullrick scored his two goals in the game and scored the tying goal in the third period.

With the score knotted at 1-1, Ullrick broke loose in the extra period scoring the breakaway goal giving Salmon Arm the win.

In the win, the Silverbacks improve to 9-5-0-1 while PG remains in front of Salmon Arm with a record of 9-4-1-1.
