Tow Truck Crews in Prince George Playing Catch-up After Busy Weekend for Towing

PRINCE GEORGE – With city streets as slick as skating rinks, you might have already experienced a few close calls on the roads yourself, maybe sliding through an intersection while trying to break, or fishtailing around a tight and icy turn. That’s just the way of the road in Canadian winter’s, and no matter how much we may wish otherwise, snow covered roads and slippery streets are here to stay… and thats more than apparent to the city’s tow truck drivers. With tow companies short staffed, and drivers already working around the clock, if you find yourself calling for a tow, you be in for a bit of a wait… so it’s best to be prepared for freezing temperatures by having a cold weather kit in your car just in case.

The Prince George RCMP is reminding the public that if you see a vehicle off the road, thats been marked with safety tape, then the authorities are already aware it’s there, and theres no need for you to stop and call it in to 911.
