Structure fire caused by air fryer on St. Claire St.

PRINCE GEORGE — On November 9 at around 12:00 p.m., Prince George Fire Rescue crews from three halls responded to a reported structure fire in the 7000 block of St Claire St.
Crews found heavy smoke upon arrival in the basement of the residence, and were able to quickly contain the fire to the suite and crews remained on scene to make sure that the fire had not spread.
The cause of the fire appeared to be from an unattended air fryer, and the damages to the residence are estimated at $85000. There were no injuries caused from the fire.
