Fire training at YXS Monday and Saturday

PRINCE GEORGE — No need for concern if you see dark smoke in and around the airport Monday afternoon.

The Prince George Airport says live fire training takes place from 4 p.m. till 8 p.m. tonight and again from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday.

YXS says these fires are in self-contained training facilities under controlled circumstances and are part of ongoing fire training and certification.
