K.K.S. Tactical to close in December

PRINCE GEORGE — Just four weeks after new federal handgun restrictions were implemented, a local gun store has come to the difficult decision to close down.

KKS Tactical Supplies, which first opened in 2019, is closing its doors for the final time in December, as owner Cassy Premack says that recent federal firearms restrictions such as the freeze on the sale, purchase and transfer of handguns, has taken a hit on the business over the last couple of years.

With the recent gun control legislation, Cassy says that they have nearly $70,000 in inventory that they cannot sell, or that is not applicable for a federal buyback. The only other option is for them to take the inventory to the RCMP to get destroyed.
