Pidherny trails to close December 5

PRINCE GEORGE — On December 5th, trail closures at the Pidherny Recreation Site will begin.

A fuel management project at Pidherny is taking place to promote forest health and reduce the risk of wildfires in the area. The trail closures are to ensure public safety within project boundaries.

These closures are anticipated to remain in place until February 2023. All access from the lower parking lot on Pidherny Road will be closed to the public during this time. The project is anticipated to last two years.
