PRINCE GEORGE- It’s just one more sleep until the Miracle on Third Fundraiser here at Pattison Media.
Yesterday, we told you more about the Pathway of Hope program. Today we focus on what the Salvation Army does for the community of Prince George.
The Food bank helps people in all corners of the community. From putting together hampers to help those in need to supporting other organizations throughout Prince George.
Along with the famous foodbank, the Salvation Army has a thrift shop in Prince George. A recycling program also makes an impact.
Though the Salvation Army performs critical assistance, they say they couldn’t do it without the community of Prince George.
“I couldn’t do this job without Prince George’s help,” said Roy Law. “There’s only so much we can do. With the help of Prince George, helping us both physically by volunteering and both monetarily, it’s overwhelming sometimes.”
