Early morning structure fire in the Hart

PRINCE GEORGE — A structure fire broke out early this morning in the Hart.

The city says it broke out at approximately 2 a.m. on the 1300 block of Alex drive. Crews arrived to find an extensive fire in the main floor of a residential home.

One resident suffered burns and was treated on scene by crews.

Damage is estimated at $285,000. The fire is under investigation by the RCMP.
