RCMP provide update on early December ‘suspicious’ death

PRINCE GEORGE — Local Mounties have provided an update on a death earlier this month they originally labelled as “suspicious.”

Following a tip from the public, the body was located shortly after 6 a.m. December 1 in the 800 block of Canada Games Way.

RCMP say they no longer consider the death to be suspicious, though the BC Coroners Service investigation into the cause of death remains open.

RCMP say next of kin has been notified and is working with the RCMP’s Victim Services Unit.
