Cougars fall to Americans in OT despite 48-save effort by Ty Young
KENNEWICK — Prince George Cougars goalie Ty Young made 48 saves but the team ultimately fell to the Tri-City Americans 4-3 in overtime.
The back-and-forth affair saw the Americans prevail as Deagan McMillan scored twice for Tri-City in the win.
Tyson Greenway was the hero in Friday’s win for the Americans getting the overtime goal after no winner was decided after 60 minutes of play.
This loss drops the Cougars to a 14-13-1-1 record which currently sits them as the fifth seed in the WHL’s Western Conference Standings with 29 points.
