Cram a cruiser event gathering donations for the Salvation Army

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George RCMP had some help in giving Santa a hand this weekend.

On a snowy Saturday, officers from the Prince George RCMP were at three Save-on-foods locations helping gather donations for the Salvation Army. Locations were Spruceland, College Heights and the Hart. Residents were encouraged to grab an extra item or two on their way through the shopping centre to donate on their way back out. The items were then crammed into a police car.

Cpl. Jennifer Cooper says that the Salvation Army has been generous in assisting their Victim Services program over the years and this is their way of helping to give back.
