Business owner wants to bring attention to crime in industrial area

PRINCE GEORGE — If you have been east of Queensway you know that there are many industrial businesses located in that area and within those city blocks, are numbers of employees and business owners, and one of those is Sheldon White who is thinking about forming a group with other business owners to shed light on crime in the area and says its the last resort.

Sheldon White is the owner of Central Events & Tent and says that he has had to file seven police reports regarding break-ins, attempted break-ins and fires since June.

With little to no streetlights in the Queensway East area, White says that more street lights in the area could be a deterrent to crime and make people in the area feel safer when out in the dark.
