Students give back to Students for Christmas at Duchess Park Secondary School

PRINCE GEORGE- Leadership Students at Duchess Park Secondary School were up bright and early Thursday morning putting the finishing touches on their Christmas Hampers. The group met at 6am to box up and package 38 personalized food hampers that will be donated to families with kids attending Duchess Park Secondary School. Vice Principal Dylan Clifford, was beaming with pride as he spoke about the students who took the initiative to step up to lead the charge on the donation drive.
The Personalized christmas hampers have been a long time in the making, but now that they’re finally ready, support staff and volunteers with Duchess Park Secondary School will begin making their rounds to drop off the hamper donations to families chosen as recipients by the Leadership class. The holiday spirit is alive and well at Duchess Park, as students give back to students, and learn a valuable lesson, that the holiday season, looks a bit different for everyone.
