PG fire crews douse Saturday evening structure fire

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Fire and Rescue crews quickly extinguished a structure fire Saturday.

At around 6:00 p.m., crews from three halls were called to the 2100 block of Upland Street to a report that a building was on fire.

It’s not specified whether the building was a home, but crews made quick work of the fire dousing the blaze and preventing it from spreading.

The PG fire news release states there were no injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
