BC Affordability Credit to arrive in bank accounts this month
PRINCE GEORGE — Bigger tax credits promised by the BC Government for low and moderate-income earning individuals will be showing up this month.
The BC affordability credit will provide as much as an additional $164 dollars per adult and $41 dollars per child.
Finance Minister Katrine Conroy says that 85 percent of British Columbians will automatically receive a full or partial credit through the Canada Revenue Agency and hopes that it will take off some of the financial pressure for the new year.
“We’re focused on helping the people and families who need it most right now, and we are in a strong position to continue this support. No matter what is on the horizon, we’ll continue to be here for British Columbians.” – Finance Minister Katrine Conroy
