West Coast blind curling bonspiel slides into Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Golf and Curling Club was home to the west coast blind curling bonspiel this past weekend, and the team from Prince George had a very good tournament.

It was all good curling at the Prince George Golf and Curling Club as four teams competed to represent team BC at the Western Canada blind curling championships that will take place in Winnipeg. The Prince George blind curling team, came away with the victory on Sunday, earning the right to go to Winnipeg. Terry Pipkey and Wendel Schwab enjoyed the chance to play and win at home.

The three other teams that competed at this weekends event were from Campbell River, Kelowna and Vancouver. The top 2 teams from the event will head to Manitoba in March.
