Traffic stop yields stolen items, guns and drugs

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP have said that a traffic stop on Friday, January 13, yielded a number of stolen items.

The traffic stop was on Queensway near Patricia Boulevard, a gun case was seen resting at the feet of the front passenger. The two occupants of the vehicle were arrested and a further search of the vehicle resulted in police finding two firearms and some ammunition. One of the firearms was recently reported as stolen.

Police also found drugs and drug paraphernalia, as well as a number of other large items that appeared to be stolen.

The list of found items includes:

  • MacBook Air in a black backpack
  • Black and blue Voltbike
  • Kobalt pressure washer
  • Milwaukee tool bag with various tools
  • Tool bag with various Dewalt tools
  • Bronze and grey golf bag with clubs
  • Dewalt radio
  • Mastercraft arc welder

In order to claim an item please attend the Prince George RCMP Detachment at 455 Victoria Street with proof of ownership, such as the serial number and/or make and model of the item(s).

Community members will not be able to view an item without providing proof of ownership.
