2023 Nordiq Selection Trials and Cup a huge success
PRINCE GEORGE — The 2023 Nordiq Canada Selection Trials and Nordiq Cup has wrapped up after a week full of action.
Since Tuesday, athletes from across Canada and the world arrived in Prince George to compete, and by all accounts the event was a massive success. Two events were held on the final day of the event on Saturday. In the women’s open 10 kilometer race, Isabella Marcisz won the gold with a total time of 26 minutes and 5 seconds.
In the men’s open 10 kilometer event, Russell Kennedy from the Canmore Nordic Club in Canmore, Alberta took first place, with a total time of 23 minutes and 20 seconds.
