PRINCE GEORGE – BC’s Northern Capital lost a legendary local realtor and community leader when Ken Goss passed away in early January.

Goss was one of the city’s longest-serving active realtors with over 35 years of experience helping homebuyers and sellers and recruiting others to join the community over the years.

“Ken Goss was a legend in real estate in Prince George. I mean, everybody knew him. Everybody knew who Ken Goss was,” said Breanne Cote, Vice-President of the BC Northern Real Estate Board. “And if you didn’t know him, then you knew his name for sure.”

Over his time, the real estate pioneer was one to routinely think outside the box. According to his colleagues and friends, Goss was the first local realtor to display his cell phone number on billboards and the first realtor to have a pickup truck to get around.

Many others have been inspired and motivated by the man dubbed ‘Mr. REMAX’, Norm Ferris, Dan Strickland, and many others spoke about the lasting impact that will live on throughout the community.

Goss passed away due to health complications, he was 72.
