Healing Fire Coalition hosts Prince George event

PRINCE GEORGE – A chiefs walking tour today highlighted an event organized by the Healing Fire Coalition.

The coalition is a group of indigenous communities and organizations working to support the vulnerable population in downtown Prince George.

The tour took place near Moccasin Flats, where chiefs handed out food and care packages to those in need.

The coalition is planning to host another event this summer and plans to continue to work to resolve the opioid crisis and increase the amount of affordable housing in Prince George.
