Quesnel bank robbery suspect arrested

QUESNEL — Mounties in Quesnel have arrested a suspected bank robber.

Quesnel RCMP say the man was arrested in relation to the bank robbery that occurred at the CIBC bank on February 1, 2023.

On that day at around 5 p.m., Quesnel RCMP responded to a call of a robbery where a lone man entered the bank and produced a note demanding money and threatening staff.

The suspect made motions indicating he had a weapon says police. The man departed on foot.
