PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP says that four individuals were arrested followed an armed robbery.
On Tuesday, February 7 at around 1 a.m., police responded to a report of an armed robbery at a gas station on the 8000 block of the Hart Highway. After police arrived at the scene, they found that the suspects stole several firearms from a locked gun cabinet and then fled in a dark coloured minivan.
An officer spotted a minivan that matched the suspect vehicle’s description near Oak Street and Monkley Avenue. The minivan fled and was located not too far away, stuck in the middle of Strathcona Park.
Four suspects were arrested and are being held in custody until they can attend court.
