PRINCE GEORGE — Tax season are two words that Canadians generally do not want to hear, but as of Monday, Canadians can now start filing their taxes. If you choose to file your taxes by yourself, the Canada Revenue Agency has a plethora of information to help you.
For the 2022 tax season, the CRA says they have made some changes to pre-existing tax credits. With rumours of a potential strike at the CRA, the agency says that they will continue to serve Canadians.
If you do not wish to file taxes by yourself or need additional help or just wanting to make sure everything is done correctly, visiting a tax services centre may be a viable option. Scammers pretending to be someone from the CRA are still common place and will become more frequent during tax season.
