Spruce Kings fall to Silverbacks 2-1 in OT

PRINCE GEORGE — A hard fought battle by the Spruce Kings on Saturday (Feb.18) resulted in only one point as the Salmon Arm Silverbacks took a 2-1 victory in overtime.

The Silverbacks struck first in the opening frame on the powerplay as Tristan Allen would get his sixth on the year.

Less than 90 seconds later, Luca Primerano would strike right back and get Prince George on the board to tie things up at one.

Both teams would not allow a goal in the second or third period which meant the game would go into extra time.
