Cedars Christian School receives high marks in Fraser Institute rankings

PRINCE GEORGE — Cedars Christian School performed best among schools in Prince George in the Fraser Institute’s annual elementary school rankings.

Cedars Christian ranked 133rd out of 870 provincial schools with a score of 7.8 out of 10.

Two other independent schools in Prince George also performed well with St. Mary’s ranked 141st and Immaculate Conception 153rd.

On the other hand, other Prince George schools performed poorly, including Ron Brent ranking dead last at 870th, College Heights at 862nd, Quinson at 845th and Spruceland at 821st.

The Fraser Institute bases its rankings on Foundation Skills Assessments, which measure writing, numeracy, and reading skills.
