Downtown Prince George prepares for St. Patrick’s Day

PRINCE GEORGE- For the past three years, courtesy of Covid-19, theres been a damper on celebrations of any kind. Now in March 2023, almost 36 months to the day after the virus first came ashore in Canada, public health restrictions have been lifted, St Paddy’s day is here again, and according to Stephen Mclaughlin, the born and bred irishman at the helm of The Black Clover, the stage is set for a rip roaring good time, just like it was back in the days before the pandemic.

St Patrick’s Day coincides with March Madness, the high profile NCAA basketball tournament currently underway in the states. Irish or not, everyone is welcome to celebrate, whats promising to be a grand ole time downtown… just leave the green coloured beers at home.
