Wheatcroft ‘s 5 point night leads the Cougars to victory

PRINCE GEORGE-Chase Wheatcroft had two goals and three assists in leading the Prince George Cougars to a 6-3 win over the visiting Kelowna Rockets Wednesday night . Wheatcroft becomes the 2nd Cougar ever to eclipse 100 points in a single season.

Ethan Samson, Blake Eastman, Koehn Ziemmer and Caden Brown also scored for Prince George, while Tyler Brennan made 27 saves for his 19th victory of the season .

The Cats,on the verge of clinching 4th place in the Western Conference, host the Victoria Royals Friday night at 7 and Saturday night at 6.
