Local powerlifter sets national records

PRINCE GEORGE- Tina Lamarsh is a 51-year-old mom and a national record-setting powerlifter.

Lamarsh started at Xconditioning in 2021 when she was recovering from a shoulder injury. Joining because of a suggestion from her son to help strengthen the shoulder.

Competing in her first competition in May of 2022, Lamarsh broke records unknowingly. It wasn’t until her second competition a few months later in November that she was recognized for her achievements.

“I saved it for my last final lift of the three lifts and let them know that it was a record,” said Lamarsh. ” It feels pretty amazing and I feel that I want to do that a lot more.”
