Drug trafficking investigation results in large seizure

PRINCE GEORGE- Local mounties uncovered a large quantity of drugs this month , following a two – month long drug trafficking investigation.

Search warrants executed on the 1700 block of 17 Avenue and on the 2600 block of Recplace Drive, turned up close to 14-hundred grams of suspected fentanyl, 170 grams of suspected methamphetamine and 28 grams of suspected cocaine.

Police say the suspected fentanyl seized alone, was enough for roughly 14-thousand individual doses of the drug.

One man was arrested and released while the investigation continues.
