PG Public Library hosts Teen Art Showcase

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Public Library and the Community Arts Council teamed up to host the annual Teen Art Showcase Saturday at the Bob Harkins branch.

Connor Pryschlak was the big winner for his work “reality.” He won for best overall work and also picked up the people’s choice award.

Here’s the full list of winners:

  • Best Social Commentary – Kitty Swanson’s Reduce, Reuse, Returtle
  • Best Use of Material – Ava Matthews’ Northern Flicker
  • Most Original – Roxie Aronson’s Tea in the Woods
  • Best Overall – Connor Pryschlak’s Reality
  • People’s Choice – Connor Pryschlak’s Reality

There were 33 submissions this year.

In its 7th year, the Teen Art Showcase continues to spotlight the creativity, dedication and hard work achieved by these amazing local artisans, as well as the community that supports them.
