Cougars are eliminated from WHL playoffs by Seattle

PRINCE GEORGE- The Prince George Cougars were swept out of the WHL Western Conference semifinal series after an 8-2 loss to the Seattle Thunderbirds in game 4 Wednesday night at CN Centre .

Zac Funk scored 24 seconds into the third period for the Cougars and Chase Wheatcroft scored his last WHL goal with less than a minute left in the game .

Seattle advances to the Western Conference final .
