“Enough is Enough” rally to push province and feds to take stronger approach to public safety
PRINCE GEORGE — A rally took place today calling on all levels of government to take a stronger approach to public safety.
The message is “enough is enough”. That was the theme of today’s rally on the walkway beside Highway 16 to bring attention and push levels of government to do more to deal with social disorder and public safety.
The rally is just one of seven being held across the province today, from the legislature Victoria to Kamloops and up to Dawson Creek, and despite various commitments and promises, those here at the rally say a number of social crises continues to intensify without appropriate action and are hoping the rallies can bring attention to the larger issue of public safety and social disorder in B.C.
