Spirit Day donations break all-time record

PRINCE GEORGE- Spirit of the North’s Spirit Day has come and gone, and the numbers are in.

The community rallied and surpassed last year’s record, raising an impressive $260,363 in just twelve hours.

The event helped raise money for several medical items including 12 infusion pumps and three life packs for the northern simulation program.

“We had a record number of calls coming in. We had a record number of challenges being issued. The best part is we saw an increased donation volume, which I think speaks to our community and what makes Prince George so special,” said Aimee Cassie, the CEO of Spirit of The North Healthcare Foundation.
