Grade 12 high school students to get free rides in June as GradPASS program returns

PRINCE GEORGE — As they get near the finish line of high school, grad 12 students in Prince George will have the option for a safe ride home during graduation season.

The GradPASS program allows students free bus rides for any two days of their choice in the month of June. According to the City of Prince George, the two days do not have to be consecutive.

The program which has been held for over 30 years encourages graduating students to plan a safe ride home. In order to use a GradPASS, students need to scratch off their two chosen travel days.

Once students board the bus, they display their card along with a valid student ID to the driver. GradPASS cards will be distributed to schools at the end of the month.
