1. Why are you running for school trustee?

I have sought this position based on my personal experiences and those of my elementary and high school children.

2. Do you support sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) education in B.C.? Why or why not?

As the parent of five kids, four of whom are still in school, and two of whom identify as LGBTQ and 2 are indigenous, I constantly hear their stories.
Their differences have resulted in them being bullied, excluded, assaulted, and marginalized. As a parent, you feel powerless to help when your child faces hardships similar to those you experienced in school.

This is why I am running for school trustee. Our schools can benefit from my experience and drive.
